PCSO 6178 Nicola Russell recently attended the Kegworth Dementia and Support Café, where she delivered an informative talk focusing on personal safety, home security, and scam awareness. The session was well received, encouraging meaningful engagement and a range of thoughtful questions from those in attendance. Crime prevention materials were also handed out, providing practical advice that attendees could take away and share with others.
It is important to note that these sessions are not exclusively for individuals living with dementia. They are open to anyone who may require additional support in later life, as well as family members, carers, and those who support people in later life.
